About me

Hi, my name is Sam and I run Petiquette dog training. I have been working with dogs for 10 years now and am qualified with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT). I am a positive, reward based trainer in Congleton, Cheshire following science based methods throughout. I strive to keep up to date with new science as much as possible by regularly attending courses and reading as well as updating my class plans and 1 to 1 plans to accommodate for this. I currently have 3 dogs myself. My eldest is Missy, the Boxer, in the middle is Ernie who is my Spaniel Cross and finally Masai, Ridgeback cross. Iv owned Missy from a puppy at 8 weeks old whereas Ernie and Masai are both rescue dogs.

I regularly compete in sports with Ernie too. We are very fond of Agility and love the mental and physical challenge it gives us. He also recently retired from his Flyball career too. I have hopes that Masai will follow in his footsteps. Missy on the other hand is very happy just being a pet and whilst she loves training, competing isn’t for her.
